Discover the EMaCS Master's – a dynamic two-year program designed for graduates in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields, complemented by work experience. Immerse yourself in a cutting-edge curriculum recognized in 5 countries, offering expertise in industrial computing, multidisciplinary insights into engineering, and a special focus on sustainability, resilience, and human-centric development with the aim of:

WHY EMaCS

International Master

A single program developed jointly by 5 prestigious international universities, with official validity in five countries: Spain, Portugal, Germany, Romania and Finland.

Scholarships available

Financial support for excellence. An annual average of 12 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available to students who meet the requirements.

 

Research and PhD

Leading research lines. A practical, current and quality program that, after getting the title, grants access to educational research and doctoral studies.

Multidisciplinary team

Teachers from different countries, educational areas and disciplines will offer a current, practical and innovative vision of the industry 5.0.

International internships

More than 10 institutions, public and private, with extensive work in industry 5.0 and its disciplines, will show students the most practical part.

FUTURE

CONSORTIUM

EMaCS has been jointly organized by Universidad de Burgos (UBU, Spain), Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (IPC, Portugal), Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW, Germany), Universitatea de Vest din Timisoara (UVT, Romania), and Turun Ammattikorkeakoulu (Turku UAS, Finland). The participation of several industrial and research institutions as associated partners has contributed to offering a coherent and practical programme.

Funded in 2022 by the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures program, four higher education institutions coordinated by Universidad de Burgos are promoting the development of a Master's in Computer Science for the Human-Centric and Sustainable Industry. This program is distinguished by its high level of innovation and excellence in curriculum and management, aiming to attract international talent.

Governance bodies, agreements, procedures, requirements, content, titles… The quality of the Master in Computer Science for the Human-Centric and Sustainable Industry (EMaCS), jointly designed and developed by 5 Higher Education Institutions from Spain, Portugal, Germany, Finland, and Romania, has been accredited with the demanding European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programs (EA).
